Operations – Investment Operations – 2027 Summer Internship Program Overview

Company Name Blackrock
Job Role Operations – Investment Operations – 2027 Summer Internship Program
Qualifications Bachelor’s
Category Finance Jobs
Job Type Internship
Location Edinburgh

This summer internship programme is an eight-week experience running from June through August and is intended to give students a challenging, meaningful, and supportive introduction to life at BlackRock. The structure is designed to resemble the day-to-day experience of a full-time BlackRock Analyst as closely as possible, so interns can gain practical exposure to the firm’s work, culture, and expectations.

The programme begins with an orientation that introduces the firm and includes the chance to hear from several senior leaders. After that, interns move into their teams and receive on-the-job training, along with real responsibilities that allow them to contribute throughout the summer. In addition to the core work experience, the programme includes speaker sessions, mentoring, and networking opportunities, including activities connected to employee networks.
