This graduate rotational programme is designed to give you broad, practical exposure to how a global investment firm serves clients, develops products, and turns ideas into real outcomes. Over 2.5 years, you will rotate between teams in Client Business and Global Product Solutions, learning directly from specialists in relationship management and investment products while contributing to work that supports clients across Europe and beyond. The programme is intended to build long-term, transferable skills, including project coordination, stakeholder communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to turn information into action.

What the programme covers

In Client Business, you will learn how the firm builds and maintains relationships with a wide range of clients, including large institutions and private wealth managers. You will see how client goals shape the way teams work, how investment decisions are made, and how market movements affect portfolios and client conversations. You will also gain exposure to the firm’s product range, including funds, ETFs, and tailored solutions, and learn how the right offering is matched to the right client need.

In Global Product Solutions, you will work across the full product lifecycle, from early idea generation through design, regulatory considerations, naming, launch planning, and sales strategy. You will learn how products are positioned in the market, how teams decide who a product is for, and how research and market analysis are used to shape recommendations and new offerings. The role also gives you insight into how complex projects are coordinated across legal, operations, compliance, and other functions.

Client Business experience

During your time in Client Business, you will build an understanding of how major investors think, including how pension funds, insurers, and other institutions assess performance, manage risk, and make investment choices. You will follow market news and internal research so you can understand market movements and explain their impact on client portfolios. You will also learn how the firm supports different client segments and how communication needs vary across markets and audiences.

You will gain practical experience with the tools and systems used in client work, including relationship management platforms and Aladdin, the firm’s proprietary technology for portfolio analysis. You will also develop the communication skills needed for strong sales and service work, such as tailoring messages for different markets and writing concise follow-up communications. In addition, you will build a solid understanding of the ethical standards and regulations that guide the work, with a consistent focus on acting in clients’ best interests.

Examples of work in this area may include helping organise client meetings, preparing materials, taking notes, following up on questions, supporting outreach campaigns for events or webinars, building pitch materials that turn data into a clear story, and analysing sales information to identify trends and share insights with the team. You may also have opportunities to attend events, conferences, and meetings that help you expand your network and develop your own perspective on the industry.

Global Product Solutions experience

In Global Product Solutions, you will learn how investment products such as ETFs work, why investors choose them, and what features make them effective for different strategies, including broad market exposure and thematic ideas such as artificial intelligence or clean energy. You will also explore how the team helps translate complex market conditions into practical guidance for clients, including questions around risk reduction and income generation.

You will see how new product ideas are tested and developed, including how teams assess market gaps, investor demand, and competitive positioning. You may research opportunities for new strategies, such as a European Defence ETF or a Space Technology ETF, and help evaluate whether there is a real market case for them. You will also learn how to support product launches by managing timelines, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and helping ensure that all the moving parts stay on track.

Other work may include helping improve portfolios by using analytical tools to review performance and suggest changes, tracking industry trends and comparing the firm’s offerings with competitors, and drafting written materials such as fund factsheets or internal briefings. You will also learn how to explain complex investments in a simple and useful way to both colleagues and clients.

The programme is intended to help you build a wide range of skills that are valuable in finance and beyond. These include managing complex projects, communicating clearly with stakeholders, analysing data, understanding markets, and turning research into recommendations. You will also strengthen your organisational ability, collaboration skills, resilience, and confidence in a client- and product-focused environment.

By the end of the programme, you should have a broad understanding of how client needs, product development, market research, and commercial delivery connect within a major investment firm. You will have worked across multiple teams, gained exposure to different parts of the business, and developed a foundation that can support a long-term career in financial services or other fields.

The programme is structured differently from the full-time analyst programme because you will not select a single team in advance; instead, you will rotate across several teams over the 2.5-year period to gain a wider practical view of the business.
