This summer internship is an eight-week programme running from June through August and is built to give students a substantial, supportive, and realistic preview of life as a BlackRock analyst. The experience is designed to closely reflect the responsibilities and pace of a full-time analyst role, while still providing guidance, training, and structured development throughout the summer.
The programme begins with an orientation that introduces the firm in depth and gives interns the chance to hear directly from senior leaders. After that, interns move into their teams and receive practical on-the-job training. They are expected to take on day-to-day responsibilities that contribute meaningfully to the work of their teams over the course of the internship.
In addition to the core work experience, the programme includes a speaker series, mentoring, and a range of networking opportunities. These activities also include chances to connect with employee networks, helping interns build relationships across the firm and learn more about BlackRockâs culture and communities. Students who find the programme a strong fit are encouraged to explore the Full-Time Analyst Programme as a possible next step after the internship.
