This summer internship programme is an eight-week experience running from June through August across the EMEA region. It is intended to give students a demanding, meaningful, and supportive introduction to life at BlackRock, with the experience structured to resemble, as closely as possible, the work of a full-time BlackRock analyst. Interns begin with an orientation that introduces the firm and includes talks from senior leaders, then move into practical team-based work with real responsibilities for the rest of the summer.
The programme is designed to combine hands-on learning with broader development opportunities. Alongside day-to-day work, interns take part in a speaker series, receive mentoring, and join networking activities, including events connected to employee networks. The internship is also positioned as a possible stepping stone toward the Full-Time Analyst Programme for those who want to continue with BlackRock after the summer.
