This role sits at the intersection of advisory work and operational partnership for Delivery Service Partners across Amazon Logistics. The Delivery Partner Manager supports DSP business owners as they launch, grow, and improve last-mile delivery businesses, helping them build strong, compliant, and high-performing operations. The position is designed for someone who can influence strategy, solve problems at scale, and act as a trusted internal and external partner across a complex network.
In this role, you will work with DSP owners throughout the full lifecycle of their businesses. That includes helping with net-new launches, supporting established partners as they scale, and identifying opportunities to improve performance, safety, compliance, capacity, and partner experience. You will also work closely with Regional On-The-Road managers where planning and execution responsibilities overlap, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities and strong coordination across teams.
The role is field based and requires regular travel between multiple sites. You will be expected to meet business owners weekly and adapt to business needs, which may include overnight work, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is an important part of the job, as is the ability to operate effectively across a wide geographic area and a varied portfolio of partners.
What you will do
- Serve as both an adviser and operating partner to DSP owners, helping them run successful last-mile delivery businesses.
- Support new DSP launches and help owners prepare for onboarding and go-live activities.
- Work with OTR managers on shared responsibilities around planning, execution, and capability transition.
- Identify and act on opportunities to create value across the DSP lifecycle, with emphasis on sentiment, safety, compliance, performance, and capacity.
- Advise owners on business planning and strategy, helping them anticipate issues, solve major challenges, and make effective decisions.
- Manage a portfolio of DSP owners at different stages of maturity, setting expectations, driving accountability, and tracking key metrics.
- Collaborate with internal partners including Partner Relations, Value Added Services, Legal, fleet, and network health teams.
- Remove barriers that affect financial, operational, and safety performance at network level.
- Support the use and enforcement of Monitoring and Enforcement Policies and maintain feedback channels between OTR teams, DSPs, and WW/EU product and strategy groups.
- Partner with OTR Safety and OTR Regional Managers to maintain safety compliance.
- Coach DSP owners through growth, operational issue resolution, and peak-period readiness.
- Ensure owners have the resources needed to ramp up effectively and prepare for demand surges.
- Help new partners onboard to the program and prepare for launch in net-new situations.
- Improve owners’ use of AMZL tools by coaching and upskilling them where needed.
- Analyze customer metric performance to find opportunities for improvement.
- Promote consistent application of last-mile processes in delivery stations and challenge upstream processes that negatively affect OTR execution.
- Coach owners to run compliant, safe, and high-performing businesses, including through SLS metric analysis and deep dives.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and help implement operational improvements at both network and DSP-owner level.
- Strengthen the Amazon-DSP relationship by improving partner sentiment and aligning communication after close collaboration with OTR teams.
- Act as the internal voice of DSPs within AMZL and represent their perspective across the business.
- Work to improve driver standards in order to protect Amazon’s brand reputation.
- Collaborate with DSPs on ramp plans and pipeline goals so driver supply matches peak volume requirements.
- Use analytical and productivity tools to support account management, performance tracking, and operational decision-making.
What you need

- Background in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or a similar field.

- Experience managing a contingent workforce in a business that experiences seasonal peaks.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience in account management or customer relationship management.
- Ability to work in a field-based role with substantial travel and a flexible schedule.
- Comfort working with multiple internal stakeholders and external partners while balancing competing priorities.
- Preferred experience with tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence, Salesforce, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Preferred familiarity with general AI tools.
- Preferred experience with continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
