This role is for a Lead Consultant focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, based in London, United Kingdom. What you will do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations, with coverage across record-to-report, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and projects.
  • Work directly with customer process consultants and business subject matter experts to collect business and technical requirements.
  • Review requirements across different functional areas, identify cross-functional dependencies, and recommend solutions that work end to end.
  • Provide leadership in discussions with customer teams on architecture and design, helping influence decisions toward the most suitable solution approach.
  • Coordinate with multiple project tracks to keep solution delivery aligned with milestones and overall project objectives.
  • Make sure the final design delivered to the customer is robust and that any issues are addressed and resolved.
  • Look for opportunities to improve business processes and introduce automation where appropriate.
  • Support requirement gathering and solution design for global rollout programmes.
  • Take part in the testing and deployment of custom Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials solutions.
  • Manage communication and work coordination between onsite and offshore teams.
  • Lead training for super users and support other training activities as needed.
  • Work with other delivery streams to support complete end-to-end business process delivery.
  • Assist with finance-related configuration tasks and data conversion activities.

What you need

  • Deep implementation experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Hands-on knowledge of the core finance areas covered by the role, including record-to-report, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and projects.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into practical solution designs.
  • Experience working in environments involving multiple currencies, exchange rates, multiple languages, different time zones, and localisation needs.
  • Knowledge of legal and statutory requirements for European countries.
  • Experience with European VAT.
  • Ability to gather requirements and design solutions for international or global rollout projects.
  • Experience analysing key business documents and shaping solutions that meet legal and statutory obligations.
  • At least two or three full Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations completed.
  • Implementation experience in European countries.
  • Experience testing and deploying custom solutions for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Experience managing onsite-offshore communication and work coordination.
  • Experience leading super-user training and supporting related learning activities.
  • Experience coordinating with other workstreams to deliver complete business processes.
  • Experience supporting finance configuration and data conversion.
  • Preferred exposure to process optimisation or modernisation initiatives driven by digitisation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
