This is a two-year, full-time analyst programme for early-career candidates across the EMEA region. It is designed to help participants connect their personal interests and strengths with BlackRock’s mission, principles, and broader purpose while building practical experience in a global financial services environment. The programme starts with an orientation that introduces the firm’s purpose, business, and strategic priorities, and gives new analysts insight into what day-to-day work looks like. After that, analysts join their teams and continue developing through ongoing training and professional learning while staying connected with colleagues around the world.

What the programme involves

  • Joining a structured two-year analyst experience that supports professional growth from the start of your career.
  • Beginning with an onboarding period that explains BlackRock’s purpose, business model, and strategic direction.
  • Learning what the analyst role looks like in practice before moving into team-based work.
  • Working within a team after orientation and contributing to the group’s ongoing priorities and projects.
  • Remaining connected to a global network of colleagues through continued training and development opportunities.
  • Helping the firm advance its wider aim of supporting more people in achieving financial well-being.

Who can apply

  • Candidates must be due to graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree between June 2026 and July 2027.
  • Applicants from any degree subject are welcome; there is no requirement for a specific academic discipline.
  • The programme is open to candidates applying across the EMEA region, with roles available in a range of cities and countries including Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
  • Listed cities include Amsterdam, Belgrade, Brussels, Budapest, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Dubai, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, Riyadh, Stockholm, and Zurich.
  • For Continental Europe roles, applicants need fluency in the local language of the location.
  • For Budapest, English alone is sufficient.
  • For roles in Private Markets Investing in Zurich, English alone is sufficient.
  • The programme start date is in August, although BlackRock says earlier start dates may also be considered.

Application process and deadlines

  • After submitting an application, candidates receive an email asking them to complete a pre-interview assessment.
  • The assessment must be completed within five days of receiving it.
  • If the assessment is not completed in time, the application will be withdrawn automatically.
  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so the company encourages candidates to apply as early as possible.
  • Deadline dates vary by location: London, Edinburgh, Paris, and Zurich close on 30 September 2026; Milan and Amsterdam close on 30 October 2026; Frankfurt, Munich, and Copenhagen close on 13 November 2026; Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, and Riyadh close on 31 January 2027.
  • Applicants are directed to a separate salary ranges document for the relevant business areas and locations under the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
