The position is based in London and sits within the Client Service team, where the associate acts as the bridge between clients and the expert knowledge they need to make better decisions.

What the role involves
- Acting as the central contact point between clients and experts, making sure the right conversations happen quickly and effectively.
- Managing several assignments at once for investors, strategists, and deal-focused teams who need expert insight to support important decisions.
- Handling client-expert communication from start to finish, including spending substantial time on calls to screen experts and negotiate with them so the best possible match is found for each request.
- Using AI-supported sourcing tools to map complicated industry ecosystems and identify experts who are relevant to the clientâs needs.
- Interpreting the commercial situation behind each project, along with the market environment and the legal and regulatory considerations that apply to both clients and experts.
- Working in a role that is highly communication-driven, fast paced, and dependent on the ability to juggle multiple parallel tasks without losing quality or momentum.
- Contributing to strong client outcomes by combining commercial awareness, persistence, and effective coordination.

- Gaining exposure to the business world without being limited to a single industry or profession.
- Building transferable skills in professional communication, negotiation, persuasion, project management, time management, and client handling.
- Developing confidence in tech-enabled ways of working, including tools powered by AI.
- Following a structured progression route, with the opportunity to move to Manager after roughly 24 to 30 months and to Vice President after about five years.
- Potentially qualifying for AlphaSightsâ MBA Tuition Program after completing the Associate Program, which can provide financial support for tuition at selected top business schools.
What the company is looking for
- An undergraduate degree with a 2:1 classification or higher, or an equivalent strong academic record.
- Evidence of achievement outside academics, such as meaningful extracurricular involvement during school or university.
- Relevant internship experience.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese, with Portuguese required at native level or C2 standard.
- Experience living or working in continental Europe is preferred.
- Resilience, determination, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, results-focused setting.
- A client-first approach and comfort working in a role that requires persuasion, negotiation, and responsiveness to deadlines.
- Willingness to keep learning new tools and workflows, including AI-enabled systems, to improve output and efficiency.
Pay and benefits
- Expected first-year total compensation of £48,500 to £57,500 for average to high performance.
- A base salary of £41,500 per year, plus uncapped variable compensation based on individual performance.
- 4% matched pension contributions on eligible earnings.

- 25 days of holiday in addition to bank holidays, plus closure of the office between Christmas and New Year.
- A central London office with modern facilities.
