An opportunity is available for a Semiconductor Product Engineer to join a client working on semiconductor products for wireless and automotive applications. This position carries broad responsibility for both production development and product quality, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that devices meet performance, reliability, and manufacturing expectations.

What the role involves

• Taking full ownership of IC production development activities from a product engineering perspective.
• Managing the quality performance of IC production for wireless and automotive devices.
• Organising and planning qualification work and reliability programmes to support product readiness and long-term performance.
• Developing and implementing programmes focused on improving product yield.
• Working across the supply chain and coordinating with different internal departments to keep development, quality, and production objectives aligned.

What the client is looking for

• Previous experience in semiconductor product engineering.
• Working knowledge of IC test processes, including automated test equipment.
• Experience in quality and reliability activities, with ISO 9000 exposure preferred.
• Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with suppliers and internal teams.
• A degree in engineering, a PhD, or an equivalent academic background in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a similar discipline.
