This is a full-time analyst programme for the EMEA region, designed for early-career candidates who are completing their undergraduate or masterâs studies and are ready to begin a two-year development experience at BlackRock. The programme is intended to help analysts connect their own interests and strengths with the firmâs mission, principles, and purpose while building practical experience in a global business environment.
The programme starts with an orientation that introduces participants to BlackRockâs purpose, business, and strategic priorities. It also gives analysts a clearer picture of what day-to-day life in the role looks like. After that, participants join their teams and continue developing through regular training and professional learning opportunities, while remaining connected with colleagues across the world.
What you will do
- Join a two-year analyst programme and take part in a structured early-career development journey.
- Use the programme to align your personal passions and strengths with BlackRockâs mission and broader purpose.
- Attend an initial orientation covering the firmâs purpose, business model, and strategic priorities.
- Learn what the analyst role involves in practice and how the work fits into the wider organisation.
- Move into your assigned team after orientation and contribute to its work.
- Stay engaged with colleagues across the global business and build connections beyond your immediate team.
- Take part in continuing training and professional development throughout the programme.
- Help support BlackRockâs wider objective of improving financial well-being for more people.
- Complete the pre-interview assessment after applying, within the required five-day window.
Who this programme is for
- Candidates who will graduate with a bachelorâs or masterâs degree between June 2026 and July 2027.
- Applicants from any degree background, since the programme is open to all subjects.
- People who are able to start in August, with some flexibility for earlier start dates where needed.
- Applicants who can meet the language requirements for the relevant location.
Location and language expectations
- The programme covers EMEA locations including Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
- Cities listed include Amsterdam, Belgrade, Brussels, Budapest, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Dubai, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, Riyadh, Stockholm, and Zurich.
- Local language fluency is required for roles in Continental Europe.
- English alone is acceptable for Budapest.
- English alone is also acceptable for roles in Private Markets Investing in Zurich.
Application process and deadlines
- After submitting an application, candidates receive an email asking them to complete a pre-interview assessment.
- The assessment must be completed within five days of receipt.
- If the assessment is not submitted in time, the application is automatically withdrawn.
- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early application is encouraged.
- Location-specific deadlines are: London, Edinburgh, Paris, and Zurich by 30 September 2026; Milan and Amsterdam by 30 October 2026; Frankfurt, Munich, and Copenhagen by 13 November 2026; and Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, and Riyadh by 31 January 2027.
