This is a two-year full-time analyst programme for early-career candidates in the EMEA region. It is designed to help analysts connect their personal interests and strengths with BlackRock’s mission, principles, and purpose while gaining practical experience and professional development in a global environment.

The programme begins with an orientation that introduces participants to the firm’s purpose, business, and strategic priorities, as well as the realities of day-to-day analyst work. After that, analysts move into their teams and continue building their skills through ongoing learning, training, and development opportunities while working with colleagues around the world.

What you will do

  • Join a two-year analyst programme and take part in a structured early-career experience.
  • Start with an onboarding orientation that explains BlackRock’s mission, business model, and strategic direction.
  • Learn what the analyst role involves in practice and how your work fits into the wider organisation.
  • Move into your assigned team after orientation and contribute to its work.
  • Stay engaged with a global network of colleagues through continued training and professional development.
  • Support BlackRock’s broader purpose of helping more people achieve financial well-being.

Who can apply

  • The programme is open to candidates who will graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree between June 2026 and July 2027.
  • Applicants from any degree subject are welcome.
  • For roles in Continental Europe, local language fluency is required.
  • For Budapest roles, English is the only language requirement.
  • English is also the only language requirement for a position in Private Markets Investing in Zurich.
  • The expected start month is August, although an earlier start date may be considered.

Application process

  • After submitting an application, candidates receive an email inviting them to complete a pre-interview assessment.
  • The assessment must be completed within five days of the email being sent.
  • If the assessment is not submitted within that window, the application is automatically withdrawn.
  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged.

  • Milan and Amsterdam: 30 October 2026.
  • Frankfurt, Munich, and Copenhagen: 13 November 2026.

  • The programme is available across EMEA locations including Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
  • Cities listed include Amsterdam, Belgrade, Brussels, Budapest, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Dubai, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, Riyadh, Stockholm, and Zurich.
